As we’ve discovered time and time again, the inside of an upholstered chair can be quite a surprise! This set of chairs not only had a repair issue, but we also found that their frame was quite literally held together with the fabric.
Many of our re-upholstery pieces contain just a little bit of the element of surprise - meaning, we don’t always know exactly how much work a piece needs until we can see its insides. This week’s Tuesday Transformation was a chair that showed off pretty easily most of the repairs that were needed, but we still found something very unexpected once we started pulling nails and removing fabric.
This week’s blog is a little bit different than what we usually post: There was a transformation, but it wasn’t for furniture. We transformed our window display to show our support for Vermilion’s Ritter Library for their 100th birthday!
